Welcome to the New Moon Tattoo & Body Piercings website. WE HAVE BEEN UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP SINCE 2008. We are a full service tattoo and body-piercing studio located in Boise, Idaho.  Open 7 days a week for your conveinence. We can do custom or flash tattoos, from small to large pieces -Tribal, Oriental, Cover-ups, Fine Line, Old School, and New School. We can do it all! If you got your own design bring it in. Whatever you desire we can accommodate you.

We do all types of piercings from mild to wild. Dermal Anchors as well. On our site, you can read about our artists and browse through their galleries of pictures.  Find directions to the shop. You can also ask us any tattoo or piercing questions you might have. We lookforward to being able to serve your body modification needs. Make your self at home on our site.

We practice the latest sterilization techniques available. We do monthly spore tests on our autoclaves to ensure they are working properly. Needles are one-time use and are disposed of properly. We are very clean and safe. We provide aftercare with every tattoo and piercing. Come check us out for your next body modification.

Peircing Info

We do piercings on a walk-in basis only. No need for an appointment.

OUR PIERCER IS IN MON-SAT 10am-7pm

Tattoo Info

Appointments do work best for tattoos. We require a $20 deposit to make a tattoo appointment. We can do that over the phone with a credit card. Walk-in tattoos are accepted if time allows.

Rules for Minors

Piercings can be done at age 14 with Parent/Legal Guardian consent.*

Tattoos can be done at age 16 with Parent/Legal Guardian consent.*

*Parent/Guardian must be present and have a valid ID. Legal Guardian must have legal documents proving Guardianship (court documents, power of attorney, etc.) and a valid I.D.
